and Alie Chandler, MT-BC, NMT
Susan Saenger is a Board Certified Dance/Movement Therapist (BC-DMT) and a licensed clinical mental health counselor (LCMHC) and has worked with people of all ages, various disabilities, and all kinds of mental health challenges. She grew up dancing and danced professionally for a few years. For 10 years she was a member of Choreo Collective, a group that supported the development of young choreographers. Susan became involved with teaching Dance for Parkinson's in 2011 and has been teaching a weekly class for 6 years. Susan now primarily works with people 55 and over to help them have the strength, energy, mobility, and confidence to enjoy the second half of their lives through patient and expert personal training. She is certified in corrective exercise and really enjoys exploring with her clients to find the movements and exercises that are most helpful. Susan's interest in dementia comes out of all of this experience, and some more recent experiences. Her core values of open-mindedness, helpfulness, compassion, exploration, and playfulness guide her work with her clients and as a presenter/teacher.
